§ 28. Police provisions.

  • (a)

    It shall be lawful for the chief of police or any policeman of the Town of Thunderbolt lawfully appointed to arrest, with warrant when required and without warrant when not required, any and all persons violating the ordinances and laws of said town and State in the town limits and to confine such person or persons so arrested in the town or county prison until a hearing can be had in the recorder's court of the town.

    (b)

    Any police officer of the Town of Thunderbolt may arrest without a warrant for the violation of any ordinance of the town committed in his presence or any person within the limits of the State of Georgia, provided that such policeman shall have entered into immediate and continuous pursuit of such offender.
